O projecto “The Little Earth Charter ”, coordenado por JC Little do Canadá, é desenvolvido em parceria com várias escolas internacionais, entre elas a Escola Básica “de Kriebel”, Olen, Bélgica, sob a orientação de Jef Theys, com a Escola "The Gymnasium of Dimitrovgrad", Rússia, sob a orientação de Andrew Gavrilov, com a escola Kurodahara, Nasu, Japão, sob a orientação de Teruyoshi Kobayashi e com a St. Collumbkilles Primary School, Glasgow, Escócia, sob a orientação de Patricia Milne. Na Escola Básica nº 2 de Cacia o desenvolvimento deste projecto é da responsabilidade de São Monteiro Silva e Ana Maria Grave.
No desenvolvimento deste projecto vamos analisar os 8 princípios da Pequena Carta da Terra e desenvolver actividades que incutam nas crianças e jovens o gosto pela protecção da beleza, da diversidade e da vitalidade da Terra e que incentivem ao respeito, à amizade, à cooperação e à paz, abordando todas as áreas curriculares disciplinares e não disciplinares.

The Project “The Little Earth Charter ”, coordinated by JC Little from Canada, is being developed in partnership with several international schools, amongst them the Basic School “de Kriebel”, Olen, Belgium, under the supervision of Jef Theys, with the school "The Gymnasium of Dimitrovgrad", Russia, under the supervision of Andrew Gavrilov, with the Kurodahara Elementary School, Nasu, Japan, under the supervision of Teruyoshi Kobayashi and with St. Collumbkilles Primary School, Glasgow, Scotland, under the supervision of Patricia Milne. The development of this project in the Escola Básica nº 2 de Cacia is under the responsibility of São Monteiro Silva and Ana Maria Grave.
During the development of this project we will analyse the 8 principles of the Little Earth Charter and we will develop activities that give children and youth the awareness for the protection of the beauty, diversity and vitality of the Earth. These activities will encourage respect, friendship, cooperation and peace, bringing up themes from all the curricular areas.
