De 16 a 19 de Fevereiro decorreu, no Parque de Exposições de Aveiro, uma mostra de Anime e outras formas de expressão japonesa. Este evento cultural, "Anime Weekend Aveiro 2006", foi da responsabilidade da "Aveiro Expo", e contou com Anime, exposições, concertos, ateliers, workshops, cozinha japonesa, manga, shiatsu, karaoke, etc.
Fomos convidados a fazer desenhos sobre o Japão para o projecto "Mailart", os quais estiveram expostos neste evento e depois vão ser enviados para todo o mundo.
Na Sexta-feira, dia 17, assistimos ao filme "A viagem de Chihiro", visitámos diferentes ateliers, nomeadamente "Origami" e recebemos o Embaixador do Japão, com bonitas bandeiras que nós próprios fizemos na aula de EVT. Depois do discurso de abertura e da troca de presentes entre o Embaixador do Japão, Dr. HARA SATOSHI, e o presidente da Câmara de Aveiro, Dr. ÉLIO MAIA, estivemos a conversar com o Embaixador e sua esposa sobre os projectos que desenvolvemos em parceria com o Japão, o que agradou muito ao Embaixador. O presidente da Câmara de Aveiro também gostou da nossa presença e ofereceu o livro "O Armário Milagroso" para a biblioteca da nossa escola.

Between 16th and 19th February an exhibition about Anime and other forms of Japanese expression took place in the Park of Exhibitions of Aveiro. This cultural event, "Anime Weekend Aveiro 2006", was under the responsibility of the "Aveiro Expo", and included Anime, exhibitions, concerts, ateliers, workshops, Japanese gastronomy, manga, shiatsu, karaoke, etc.
We were invited to make drawings about Japan for the project "Mailart", that were displayed in this event and later will be sent for the whole world.
On Friday, 17th, we watched the film "Spirit away", we visited several ateliers, specially “Origami” and we received the Ambassador of Japan, with beautiful flags which we made in the drawing’s lesson. After the opening speech and the exchange of gifts between the Ambassador of Japan, Dr. HARA SATOSHI, and the mayor of the City Hall of Aveiro, Dr. ÉLIO MAIA, we talked with the Ambassador and his wife about the projects we develop with Japan and both were very pleased. The mayor of the City Hall of Aveiro also liked our presence and offered the book "O Armário Milagroso" for the library of our school.
