O Projecto "O Ambiente é de todos - vamos usar bem a energia" é uma iniciativa da EDP - Energias de Portugal em parceria com a Comissão Europeia no âmbito da campanha "Sustainable Energy Europe 2005/2008", a Comissão Nacional da UNESCO Portugal, o Instituto do Ambiente, a Direcção-Geral de Geologia e Energia, a Agência para a Energia e o Ministério da Educação.

Este projecto visa sensibilizar toda a comunidade educativa para os crescentes problemas resultantes das alterações climáticas e para a necessidade de uma utilização mais eficiente da energia, despertando e reforçando nos alunos comportamentos e atitudes sustentáveis que os levem a poupar energia.

Jef Theys, professor do 6º ano da Escola Básica "De Kriebel", Olen, Bélgica, associou-se a nós no desenvolvimento deste projecto, através de um projecto local da Comunidade de Olen, chamado "Energiemeesters" cujo objectivo é diminuir o consumo de energia em 7%, sem perda de conforto.

Na EB2,3 de Cacia este projecto é da responsabilidade dos professores São Monteiro Silva, Ana Grave e Miguel Lopes.

The project "O Ambiente é de todos - vamos usar bem a energia" is a initiative of EDP - Energies of Portugal in partnership with the European Committee under the scope of the program "Sustainable Energy Europe 2005/2008", the National Committee of UNESCO Portugal, the Institute for the Environment, the General-Direction of Geology and Energy, the Agency for the Energy and the Ministry of Education.

The aim of this project is to sensitize the students to the increasing problems that are the consequence of the climate changes and to the requirement of a more efficient use of energy, stimulating the students to sustainable conducts and behaviours that will make them save energy.

Jef Theys, teacher of the sixth class of the "Basisschool de Kriebel", Olen , Belgium , joined this project with a similar local project from the community of Olen, named "Energiemeesters", with the objective of using 7 % less of energy without loss of comfort.

The development of this project in the Schools of Cacia is under the responsibility of São Monteiro Silva, Ana Grave and Miguel Lopes.
